Our Cottages
The limestone farm buildings from which the Cottages have been converted were built in the mid-18th Century around two courtyards. No longer needed for agriculture, the first seven cottages opened in May 1980 and since then four more have been converted to enable over 20,000 very happy holiday makers to visit this wonderful part of Yorkshire.

The cottages are all unique, self-contained and each has been converted to the same luxurious standard. They stand in colourful mature well maintained gardens where visitors can sit out (or pick early autumn plums in the orchard).
There are 11 cottages, a reception area with the Manager's office (always contactable in an emergency), ample parking, a utility room and a children's playground. All cottages have free wireless broadband access for normal use (email, web browsing etc) but we cannot guarantee to support excessively large data downloads/live streaming eg (sports events and films) as this prevents other guests from using the system.
