One of the advantages of staying at Hungate is that you get free use of the Pickering Swimming Pool including the flumes and aqua aerobics. Another is the free pass to visit the Dalby Forest. Pickering is also well known for its Trout Farm where you can purchase freshly caught fish - or if you have a little more time on your hands you could try catching your own. The town's weekly market is on Mondays.
