Hungate celebrates it's 30th year!
2009 will be the 30th year that we have welcomed visitors to Hungate Cottages!
For our visitors, so much has changed for the better in those 30 years. Yes, the Moors have always been magnificent and the East Coast dramatic, but:
| - Pickering is now really scrubbed up and proud to match the friendliness of the shopkeepers. |

| - Lots and lots of really good places to eat from pub to restaurant and from fish and chips to gastro, and many within walking distance of the cottages. |

| - More museums; more fine old houses and gardens open to the public. |
|
|
| |
|
|
| - Many more attractions to keep the children busy. |

| - The Moors Railway has many more steam locos that run through trains to Whitby. |

| - We think the cottages have pretty well everything you need and the 4 star grading is properly merited. |
