Thank you sincerely to all our 2006 visitors - it is such a pleasure to meet you and to hear of your real enjoyment of North Yorkshire and your comfort in our lovely cottages.

For 2007 there are exciting developments on the North York's Moors Railway

The "Sir Nigel Gresley" is back on the line after the 4 year overhaul. A truly magnificent sight in Pickering Station. It holds the post-war steam speed record.
We have secured a significant discount for Hungate visitors on the railway for 2007
Through steam trains to Whitby are planned for 2007 (no change at Grosmont)

We plan to complete the following enhancements to our cottages before Christmas 2006

In Lockton - You will find a sparkling new kitchen, a much larger sitting room (to seat six adults in comfort), and a french window leading directly into the Lockton Garden.

The Carrs - Will have full ensuite facilities for each bedroom - perfect for two couples or a family who prefer not to share.

Levisham - The sitting room has been much enlarged, and you will enjoy a sparkling new kitchen.

Glaisdale - A new bathroom to match last year's new kitchen.
