What's going on in North Yorkshire? While we've been waiting for the sunshine, here at Hungate Cottages we've been busy with lots of cottage updates. A brand new kitchen has been installed in Hungate Garden Cottage (see photo below) along with new carpets and curtains in many of the cottages. The World Championship cyclists may have left Dalby Forest, but we've got many more exciting events coming up in the Pickering area over the coming weeks: May 22-23 Harewood Kite Festival - including teddy bear parachuting (bring your bravest teddy) and picnics at Harewood House May 22 Malton Food Lover's Festival - food demonstrations, Michelin Star chefs, fairground rides, games, face painting and music and dancing into the evening May 31 Duncombe Park Country Fair - fun for all the family, craft fair, farmer's market, fair rides, climbing wall, vintage cars, ferret racing and more! Remember that all Hungate Cottage visitors now receive one multi-entry pass to Dalby Forest per cottage. Take advantage of free access to the park and enjoy a lovely day out in a beautiful part of North Yorkshire.
