"For me its the wild daffodils carpeting either side of the River Dove in Farndale that bring me back each spring". Incidentally the bulbs look to be coming up earlier this year.

Just to remind you that we have negociated a good discount for you on the North York Moors Railway. It is by some measure the most popular attraction for Hungate visitors.

And if you are hell-bent on England's best fish and chips - the magpie at Whitby - you'll find the queues shorter out of season!

Despite a few hiccups, all the major cottage refurbishments have been completed in time for our Christmas visitors.

The new much larger sitting rooms in Lockton and Levisham are just stunning. And there's a new french window leading to the garden (private garden for Lockton). The kitchens have been re-shaped with new stylish units and more storage space.

We've done just what you asked for in The Carrs. Each bedroom now his its own ensuite. The former shower cubicle in the double is replaced by a new shower room with wc and basin.
