From April 2010, Hungate is providing one free multi-entry pass to Dalby Forest per cottage. (One pass gives one vehicle entry to the Forest.)

Less than 6 miles from Hungate's doorstep and the town of Pickering, you'll find Dalby Forest - 8000 acres of rolling woodland, steep valleys and bubbling streams where there really is something for everyone to enjoy. 

At the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park, Dalby Forest is the perfect place to take a gentle walk or a long hike, enjoy a relaxed bike ride or an extreme off road cycle challenge!  Children's play areas, scenic picnic spots, and even Go Ape - a popular high wire adventure course - all add to a great family day out.  Sunday drivers will appreciate Dalby Forest Drive, which takes you on a 9 mile drive through varied and stunning scenery in this beautiful part of North Yorkshire.
